IMPACCT: Improving Mood through Physical Activity for Carers and Care Recipients Trial

IMPACCT aims to investigate an innovative physical activity intervention designed specifically for older carers and the people they care for (care recipients) to undertake together in their own homes. This is the first project that targets both the care recipient and the carer.

This project aims to develop, pilot and evaluate a resource to guide responses and practice of health professionals providing aged care services to older lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) people who have experienced depression and anxiety.
